Job summary

System Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to join a well-established company in the automotive sector. Your main role will be vehicle wiring, with a formal auto electrics qualification and knowledge of PLC, CANBUS and solid-state electrics.

You will read drawings, work to build packs, and support the Production Manager on site. The position is on-site with a salary of £30,000 and benefits including free parking, and it covers locations within a reasonable

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in auto electrics is essential.
• Working knowledge of PLC, CANBUS and solid-state electrics is required.
• Experience with vehicle wiring and relevant automotive systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle wiring in accordance with the wiring diagrams / instructions.
• Supporting the Production Manager.
• Ability to read drawings and carry out works in accordance with drawings supplied in build packs.
• Working in a timely manner producing finished products to build process deadlines.
• Ability to raise issues during a build process and record any changes.
• Actively capturing and recording wiring information to be standardised and used in future builds.
• Suggesting new / improved wiring solutions / initiatives to reduce build times.
• Support sub-contractors and other ancillary companies while on site.
• Monitoring build process and liaising with Production Manager so appointments for sub-contractors can be arranged.

Established company in the automotive sector are looking to recruit an experienced Automotive Electrician

Your main role is vehicle wiring, so a formal qualification in auto electrics is essential along with a working knowledge of PLC, CANBUS and Solid-State Electrics.

The successful candidate will have some mechanical knowledge ideally from commercial vehicles, plant hire sectors or the body building industry. A willingness to learn and ability to work to time constraints and customers specifications is essential.

The role will involve;

• Vehicle wiring in accordance with the wiring diagrams / instructions.
• Supporting the Production Manager
• Ability to read drawings and carry out works in accordance with drawings supplied in build packs.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Automotive Electrician, Electrical Engineer – Automotive, Automotive Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Stourbridge, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Bridgnorth, Worcestershire or be willing to relocate.
