Job summary

ctrg is seeking an Assembly Operator in Ebbw Vale, NP23 6PL. The role involves assembling medium to heavy components, reading drawings, and using measurement tools in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Working hours are 7am-3pm Monday to Thursday and 6am-12 on Friday, totaling 37 hours per week with overtime available. Weekly pay, holidays, and early finish on Fridays are provided; Company Shop benefits and Wagestream are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly and reading technical drawings.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong health and safety awareness is essential.
• Able to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods (8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Assemble medium to heavy components with dexterity.
• Use measurement equipment such as tape measures and micrometres.
• Operate hand, power and air tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Meet production demand at required speeds.
