Job summary

Ipsum Utilities Limited is seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for engineers and technicians. The role focuses on automation technologies, network protocols, and practical learning experiences to enhance system operation and troubleshooting capabilities.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver training on PLCs, SCADA, and related technologies, create manuals and hands-on exercises, and assess learner progress to ensure competency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven experience with industrial automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
• Strong understanding of control logic, instrumentation, industrial networking, and communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on automation control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and related technologies.
• Create training materials such as manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises tailored to different skill levels.
• Train on industrial network communication and protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP).
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure competency in system operation and troubleshooting.
