Automation Test Engineer

Location: Sheffield/Hybrid - 60% Office, 40% Remote

Duration: 7 months

Rate: £350-390 per day - Umbrella only

Experience Required:

5-7 years of experience

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge and understanding of application architecture.
• Excellent understanding of Methodology (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience in preparing Test Cases/Test Plans.
• Ability to communicate technical issues or requirements clearly and effectively.
• Exposure to API Testing, including testing and validating XML, XSD, XPath Syntax, Web Services, MQ, Topics, REST, HTTP, SOAP Messaging.
• Experience in UI and API/Rest assured Automation.
• Hands-on experience with REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testing.
• Experience with GIT, GIT Commands, JIRA, Jenkins.
• Good understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) and their working.
• Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocols, and syntax.
• Understanding of Message Schema, RAML, Message Request-Response mechanisms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
