Job summary

SITA is seeking an Associate Automation Test Analyst to join our Technology and Engineering Borders team in Reading. You will test end-to-end workflows across software, devices, and infrastructure, and grow automated testing using AI-driven tools.

The role requires 1–2 years of software testing experience, hands-on automation, and the ability to work on-site five days per week with occasional travel. Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in software testing, system testing, or hardware validation.
• Proficient in software testing methodologies and defect management.
• Hands-on experience creating/maintaining automated tests.
• AI-assisted test automation capability is mandatory.
• Troubleshoot integrated hardware/software solutions.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, C#, Python, JS).
• Understanding of APIs, databases, logs, version control, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work five days/week in the office; occasional travel.
• Degree or equivalent in CS/SE/EE.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, execute, and review test cases (functional, integration, system, regression, hardware-software).
• Validate end-to-end product workflows with embedded systems and devices.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and AI-driven test suites.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test design, data prep, defects, and regression coverage.
• Perform hardware validation, performance, stress testing, and diagnostics.
• Investigate defects using logs, traces, and debugging tools; document steps.
• Collaborate with developers to isolate and resolve issues.
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, traceability, and release readiness in Agile.
