Job summary
Müller Market Drayton site is seeking an Engineering Technician to join a highly automated production environment. You will perform planned preventative maintenance on PLC-enabled lines, respond quickly to breakdowns and support upgrades and safety initiatives.
A time-served engineering background or Level 3 qualification, manufacturing experience, and proactive problem-solving are required. The role operates 4 on 4 off days and nights and offers a competitive rewards package and clear
Qualifications
- Time-served apprenticeship or Level 3 in engineering
- Experience in manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance
- Experience with automation/robotics (desirable)
- Proactive problem solving and safety focus
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades
- Collaborate with operations to drive safety, quality and performance
- Support installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment
