Job summary

Engineering Technician role at Müller UK & Ireland in Market Drayton, Shropshire. 4 on 4 off shifts (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) supporting a highly automated production environment with a focus on preventive and reactive maintenance.

Applicants should have an engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification, experience in manufacturing, and a proactive, safety-driven mindset. The site offers a state-of-the-art facility with ongoing investment and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Engineering.
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance.
Experience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable).
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
A team player committed to high safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability.
Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environment.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades.
Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performance.
Supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment.
