Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking an Engineering Technician for our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Purfleet. You’ll be the first line of response for faults, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to avoid downtime.

The role includes reactive maintenance, planned servicing and proactive improvement projects in a fast-paced, high‑tech environment with 12‑hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Formal engineering qualification preferred.
• Hands-on, practical approach to faults.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults in a 24/7 automated fulfilment centre.
• Carry out planned servicing, repairs and proactive improvements.
