Job summary

Ocado Group operates a state-of-the-art automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Andover. As an Engineering Technician, you’ll be the first line of response for faults, diagnosing and resolving issues swiftly to keep performance high. You’ll do planned servicing and repairs, and take part in proactive projects to improve reliability and efficiency.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a 24/7 shift pattern including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Technical understanding of automation hardware/software and control systems; formal engineering qualification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, practical approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and share knowledge effectively.
• Comfortable working at height using access equipment, in line with site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to engineering faults, diagnose issues, and resolve faults to maintain performance.
• Perform planned servicing and repairs to keep equipment in top condition.
• Contribute to proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
