Automation Sales Specialist – Business Development Manager

Senior sales role – a solutions magician with a brilliant network and understanding of automation sales / materials handling / headcount reduction machinery into different verticals.

No restrictions – Entrepreneurial opportunity

Negotiable salary up to £75,000 plus super OTE. A six-figure senior sales role with car or allowance and 33 days holiday! Midlands / UK / On the Road.

We’re seeking a dynamic automation sales specialist / business development manager with experience selling solutions into Manufacturing in the UK. Entrepreneurial and focused on new business development with 5+ years selling into UK Manufacturing.

SME mentality (not corporate). Hands-on self-starter! Warwickshire-based HQ (SME Group UK Manufacturer with £30 million T/O).

Candidate requirements:

  • 5+ years selling technical / automated engineering solutions into UK manufacturing
  • Contacts and experience with automotive, construction, or manufacturing sectors
  • Field sales – new business self-starter with a hunter growth mentality
  • Upbeat, can-do personality with drive and strong work ethic
  • A mechanical qualification is a bonus but not essential
  • Ability to communicate with target customers, leveraging your knowledge and contacts
  • Self-motivated, transparent, down-to-earth, and a strong communicator

Reporting to the Sales Director.

Focus on supplying manufacturing with engineered automation solutions, with openness to cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. A brilliant Midlands-based technical sales role for an ambitious senior professional.
