Job summary

YASA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide mechanical and electrical support on a hi-tech automated assembly line. The role operates on a rotating two-shift pattern, with Week 1 on Early shift (6am-2:30pm, Mon-Thu; Fri 6am-12:30pm) and Week 2 on Late shift (2:30pm-11pm, Mon-Thu; Fri 12:30pm-7pm).

The candidate will repair faults, support production targets, and drive preventative maintenance. Key requirements include a 17th Edition electrical qualification, experience in manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Fault finding in electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Repair faults as first port of call for machine breakdowns.
• Provide technical support to achieve production output standards.
• Plan and execute pro-active preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Work from mechanical drawings and schematics to fault find.
• Advise on technical issues, liaising with engineers and production team; support continuous improvement.
