Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Improvement Engineer for a major manufacturing site in the UK. Based in Telford, the role focuses on driving operational excellence in a highly automated production environment.

The successful candidate will lead improvements across electrical, controls and mechanical systems, supporting preventative maintenance and reliability initiatives. The position offers a days-based pattern with Friday early finish and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Non‑Negotiable: manufacturing/automated environment experience.
• Non‑Negotiable: continuous improvement background.
• Non‑Negotiable: electrical controls, automation and mechanical systems experience.
• Non‑Negotiable: Level 3 Engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Identify inefficiencies and implement technical improvements.
• Support reliability initiatives across electrical, controls and mechanical systems.
• Drive equipment reliability in a highly automated production environment.
