Job summary

The role centers on ownership of software quality across complex projects, with hands-on testing of software that controls live warehouse equipment and a focus on expanding automated testing capabilities.

Based near Nottingham, there is a requirement for some out-of-hours work and 3 days per week on-site at the Nottingham office, with occasional support for customer

Qualifications

• Commercial software testing experience with hands-on functional testing and automated QA.
• Experience using modern automation or API testing technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or Postman.
• Strong understanding of testing interconnected software systems, APIs and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of software testing across multiple customer projects, creating structured test scenarios and ensuring new functionality performs as expected before release.
• Develop and expand automated testing across user interfaces, APIs and regression suites.
• Recreate warehouse operations within simulated environments to assess software behaviour and identify integration issues before systems reach customer sites.
• Investigate defects from identification to resolution, working with Developers to verify fixes and minimise recurrence.
• Support wider project delivery including system integration testing, commissioning and go-live activities when required.
