Job summary

Computer Futures is seeking a WCS Test Engineer to join a growing software delivery team focused on warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions. The role emphasizes bench testing, system integration testing, and hands-on validation of WCS/WMS with real automation systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Software/Systems/Integration testing, including bench testing in controlled environments.
Experience testing Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or industrial automation software.
Strong ability to identify defects, investigate root causes, and document issues clearly.
Experience validating software integrations across platforms, including APIs, databases, and messaging.
Familiarity with test planning, test case development, and regression testing in agile environments.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive bench testing in a controlled environment to validate software against specs.
Carry out system integration testing across WCS and WMS interfaces, PLCs, databases, and automation equipment.
Develop and execute test cases and scripts for functional testing and updates.
Perform performance, stress, and reliability testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure resilience.
Manage defects from logging to retesting, coordinating with software and controls teams.
