Job summary

Technify Talent Limited is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to validate software and integrated hardware systems. You will execute functional, integration, regression and performance tests, configure environments for lab and field testing, and document results to support quality and compliance.

The role involves developing automated test scripts, working with software and hardware engineers, and occasional travel within the UK to customer and test locations.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Some experience with software or systems testing from industry, education or projects.
• Interest in test automation and modern engineering technologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, integration, regression and performance testing across software and hardware systems.
• Set up and configure test environments for lab and field testing.
• Record test results, identify defects and verify fixes using defect tracking tools.
• Produce clear test documentation to support quality and compliance.
• Assist with developing and maintaining automated test scripts and reduce manual testing.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to investigate issues and improve product quality.
• Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel to customer and test locations across the UK as required.
