Job summary

MARCH is seeking a Proposals Engineer to join the Digital team in Reading with hybrid working and regular travel to customer sites. You will bridge engineering and sales, designing automation solutions and compelling proposals for diverse sectors.

Responsibilities include leading client demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and guiding customers through control-system selections and implementation, in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience within systems integration, automation engineering, or technical sales.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent MARCH’s culture and values to customers and stakeholders.
• Engage with customers to understand automation and control requirements.
• Conduct site surveys to support robust proposals and cost estimates.
