Job summary

Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead planning, coordination and execution of water/wastewater projects. You will develop schedules, budgets and allocate resources, while building strong client and team relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3–5 years of PM experience in water/wastewater, with proficiency in I&C, AutoCAD Electrical, and MS Office. Occasional site visits and travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in water/wastewater.
  • Strong understanding of I&C systems and control technologies used in water/wastewater facilities.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering/construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Manage client relationships and provide updates.
  • Oversee performance to meet scope, schedule and quality.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, contractors and vendors.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present status reports to leads and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Create scope of work details and prepare pricing for proposals and change orders.
  • Review drawings, I/O lists, submittals and manuals with I&C designers.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management in water / wastewater industry
  • Strong understanding of I&C systems and control technologies used in water / wastewater treatment facilities
  • Advanced understanding of instrumentation and controls in water / wastewater
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, approachability in demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities, including managing challenging or complex interactions
  • Comfortable reading and understanding engineering and construction drawings, and standard specifications
  • Knowledge in using AutoCAD electrical and libraries
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and show close attention to detail
  • Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines on an ongoing basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
