Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Product Manager for Automation within Power Conversion. The role focuses on developing and implementing the Automation business strategy, driving growth, and leading lifecycle planning across regions and teams.

You will collaborate with engineering, IT, and commercial teams to align technology roadmaps with market needs, while optimizing supply chains and ensuring competitive product vitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• MBA is a plus.
• Experience in product management in Marine/Offshore, Industrial Automation, or Power Systems.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer connections to understand problems to solve.
• Define and implement the MGPP with the business teams.
• Understand industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Use customer and market feedback to produce lifecycle strategies and value propositions.
• Communicate with regional teams to align growth strategy.
• Manage product portfolio to maintain competitive vitality.
• Deliver product developments to meet lifecycle and project requirements.
• Work with engineering to build a multi-year technology roadmap.
• Proactively manage product convergence and cost-effective customer migration.
