Job summary

Kohler Mira Ltd. is seeking an Advance Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead automation strategy and delivery from Cheltenham onsite. You will drive improvements across assembly, test and material flow, with cross‑functional collaboration to achieve SQCDP objectives and scalable manufacturing solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering leadership, strong lean, NPI experience and a track record of developing teams. A competitive package and clear career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in an engineering leadership role with automation exposure.
• Experience applying lean principles to manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with NPI/NPD gated processes and DFMA principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to assess risk and make timely, cost‑conscious decisions.
• Proven delivery capability with hands‑on execution
• Leadership capability to coach and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the site automation strategy aligned to manufacturing and continuous improvement objectives.
• Lead automated and assembly projects from concept through design, build, commissioning and handover.
• Collaborate with NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Operations to ensure readiness and ramp‑up of automation.
• Define equipment specs, architecture and standards; manage suppliers and integrators.
• Ensure systems are reliable, maintainable and supported through lifecycle; embed TPM and diagnostics.
