Job summary

Kohler Mira Ltd. in Cheltenham is seeking an Advance Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead the site automation programme and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing function.

You will own the automation strategy, oversee capital projects from concept to delivery, and partner with NPI, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure readiness and performance. The role demands strong leadership, deep automation knowledge and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced

Qualifications

8+ years in engineering leadership with automation in manufacturing.
Experience with lean principles, capital planning and cost control.
Familiar with NPI/NPD, DFM/A principles and governance.
Strong stakeholder management and communication across functions.

Responsibilities

Define and deploy the site automation strategy and roadmap.
Lead automated projects from concept through design, build and handover.
Integrate equipment into NPIs/production ramps and maintain readiness.
Ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives are met.
Coach and develop ~14 staff, building a high-performance culture.
