Proactive Global is recruiting an Engineering Technician to support a highly automated warehouse operation in Worksop. The role involves fault-finding, performing planned maintenance, and ensuring automated systems operate safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with machinery, maintenance, electrical equipment or automation, and can work in a fast-paced environment while documenting activities and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with machinery, maintenance, electrical equipment or automation.
• Understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Demonstrable fault-finding and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to reactive faults and breakdowns across the automated warehouse.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment servicing.
• Diagnose, investigate and rectify mechanical, electrical and automation faults.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the engineering team or external support.
• Monitor equipment performance to minimise downtime and disruption.
• Maintain accurate records and follow engineering procedures.
