Job summary

Ocado Group in Erith operates a state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre. We are seeking an Engineering Maintenance Technician to support pre-planned and reactive maintenance of production equipment within our world-class facility.

You will work a days-based shift, maintain CMMS records, diagnose breakdowns, and collaborate with the Engineering team to improve MHE performance. A formal engineering qualification is advantageous; strong problem-solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset and ability to diagnose issues in automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs.
• Clear communication and good organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on production equipment in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolve issues and perform repairs where possible.
• Update CMMS with all work carried out and support root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering to analyse failures and improve MHE performance.
• Work on a days-based shift pattern and be comfortable working at height.
