Job summary

Thetford-based Baxter Healthcare is seeking an Automation Bias Maintenance Engineer to join our Operational Maintenance Engineering team. You will work across electrical, mechanical and automated systems to support production equipment, robotics and controls in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

You should be comfortable diagnosing faults using system information and data, and you will use Maximo and other digital engineering tools to record maintenance activity.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated production or industrial equipment.
• Reading electrical schematics and using technical data for fault diagnosis.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery and robotics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and automation faults.
• Work with PLC-controlled machinery and control systems.
• Support robotics, sensors, drives, and control panels.
• Record maintenance activity using Maximo and similar systems.
• Identify reliability improvements to reduce downtime.
