Job summary

Agratas is seeking a high-calibre automation maintenance engineer with a chemical background to support installation and commissioning of equipment in our E-zone (electrode). The role involves collaborating with internal teams, equipment vendors and turnkey partners to ensure safety, operability and maintainability to local standards.

Initially, you will review solutions, contribute to RFQ selections, and attend design reviews and supplier meetings.

Qualifications

Industry experience in FMCG, Food & Drink, Battery Pharmaceuticals, or Chemical industries.
Qualification in Chemical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience within the Chemical field.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and evaluating solutions from the project teams.
Providing technical and serviceability input during the RFQ process to ensure the right solutions are chosen based upon safety, cost and capability.
Attend design reviews, FAT or supplier meetings, travel to visit third-party suppliers and OEMs.
The role will later transition to hands-on, ensuring the installation meets our standards and requirements, developing maintenance processes, and identifying tools and spare parts and service agreements to achieve 90+% availability.
