Job summary

Agratas is seeking a high-calibre automation maintenance engineer with a chemical background to support installation and commissioning of equipment in our E-zone (electrode). The role involves collaborating with internal teams, equipment vendors and turnkey partners to ensure safety, operability and maintainability to local standards.

Initially, you will review solutions, contribute to RFQ selections, and attend design reviews and supplier meetings.

Qualifications

  • Industry experience in FMCG, Food & Drink, Battery Pharmaceuticals, or Chemical industries.
  • Qualification in Chemical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience within the Chemical field.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and evaluating solutions from the project teams.
  • Providing technical and serviceability input during the RFQ process to ensure the right solutions are chosen based upon safety, cost and capability.
  • Attend design reviews, FAT or supplier meetings, travel to visit third-party suppliers and OEMs.
  • The role will later transition to hands-on, ensuring the installation meets our standards and requirements, developing maintenance processes, and identifying tools and spare parts and service agreements to achieve 90+% availability.

What You'll Do

Agratas is looking for high calibre automation maintenance engineer who comes from a Chemical background to support the installation & commissioning of equipment within our E-zone (electrode). Working alongside internal resources, equipment vendors and turnkey partners to ensure the equipment is safe, operable & maintainable and is installed to the correct local standards.

Agratas is looking for high calibre automation maintenance engineer who comes from a Chemical background to support the installation & commissioning of equipment within our E-zone (electrode). Working alongside internal resources, equipment vendors and turnkey partners to ensure the equipment is safe, operable & maintainable and is installed to the correct local standards.


During the initial phase of the project, you will be focusing on



  • Reviewing and evaluating solutions from the project teams.

  • Providing technical and serviceability input during the RFQ process to ensure the right solutions are chosen based upon safety, cost and capability.

  • Attend design reviews, FAT or supplier meetings, travel to visit third-party suppliers and OEMs.


The role will later transition to hands-on, where you will be ensuring the installation meets our standards and requirements. You will drive and participate in the development of maintenance processes, determining tools and spare parts needed along with necessary service agreements ensuring that the equipment meets availability targets in the 90+% range.


This is a hybrid role while the site is being built but from commissioning phase, you will be required to be on-site.

What You'll Bring

Industry experience in FMCG, Food & Drink, Battery Pharmaceuticals, or Chemical industries.


Qualification in Chemical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience within the Chemical field.



Equipment Knowledge & Experience


  • Chemical & powder handling systems

  • Delivery, mixing, dosing & bulk storage systems

  • Slurry/fluid distribution

  • Ovens

  • ATEX & DSEAR

  • Abatement


Strong practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance


Strong practical system knowledge within a highly automated manufacturing environment


Proven skills with a track record of managing equipment, teams and delivering controls projects.


COMAH facility experience (desirable)
