Job summary

GXO Logistics Inteq is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead oversight and management of IT and automation projects for warehouse technology. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure successful software and automation deployments, with a hybrid work model and a 12‑month fixed term contract in Milton Keynes.

Qualifications

• IT project management experience, ideally within automated warehouse solutions or a similar industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering IT system projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT projects related to logistics and warehouse management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Ensure that vendors meet project requirements and deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including logistics, warehouse, IT, and other relevant departments, to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate internal teams and third party providers to resolve issues, oversee testing plans, and manage change requests
