Job summary

Aquent, in partnership with a forward-thinking essential services organization, is seeking an automation expert to design, build, and deploy Microsoft Power Platform solutions that improve operations and sustainability.

Join a multidisciplinary digital innovation team to translate business needs into low-code automation, implement security standards, and collaborate with Platform Engineers, Architects, and Process Engineers.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on expertise in designing automation with Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience with low-code automation development and API integrations.
Knowledge of governance, security, DLP, RBAC in Power Platform.
Experience with Azure DevOps for ALM and CI/CD.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead initial technical evaluations, estimates, integration patterns, and risk assessments.
Translate complex processes into secure, scalable low-code solutions.
Build automations and API integrations using Power Platform.
Implement engineering standards, including logging and secure storage.
Design comprehensive test strategies and maintain runbooks.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage ALM with Azure DevOps.
Produce high-quality technical documentation.
Collaborate with Platform Engineers, Architects, and Process Engineers.
Provide L3 engineering support for live automations.
Drive continuous improvement and reusable components.
