Job summary

TJX Europe is seeking an Automation Engineer for our Wakefield Processing Centre. You will help run and maintain all automated systems to keep production downtime to a minimum, working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role suits someone with PLC and networking knowledge (ASI/IBUS), capable of reading electrical and mechanical drawings, and with a proactive fault-finding mindset. Competitive salary and benefits available on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3+ in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in an automation engineering role.
• PLC and networking knowledge preferred (ASI/IBUS).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong under pressure and deadline driven.
• Proactive fault finding and continuous improvement mindset.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain all automated systems to minimise downtime.
• Work as part of the Wakefield processing Centre team.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and implementing improvements.
