Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a major automation and intralogistics site in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The role involves maintaining and optimizing state-of-the-art machinery to ensure smooth distribution operations, with a shift pattern covering mornings and nights.

You will work on mechanical disassembly/reassembly, wiring, calibration, and testing, using CMMS for task management and aiming for high asset utilization.

Qualifications

• NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in electro-mechanical engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with NDT methods and technologies.
• Knowledge of PLC systems.
• HNC/HND preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly, basic field wiring, calibration and testing.
• Use CMMS to manage maintenance tasks and improve asset utilization.
• Complete reactive repairs within agreed timeframes to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical schematics and work with 415V motor controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and uphold health and safety standards.
• Follow setup instructions and assembly guides with precision.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
