Job summary
Anglian Home Improvements is seeking an Electrical Engineer to maintain and enhance our automated manufacturing systems. You will drive reliability, reduce downtime and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams to deliver productivity gains.
The role requires hands-on work on diverse equipment, with opportunities to influence projects and develop our site’s electrical infrastructure and automated production lines.
Qualifications
- Time-served electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
- Strong PLC fault-finding and programme modification experience.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, drives, sensors and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across production equipment and systems.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
- Maintain motors, drives, sensors, control panels and electrical infrastructure.
- Support installation, commissioning and upgrade of manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and site standards.
- Update electrical drawings, schematics and documentation.
