Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our automation team in Leicester. You will design electrical schematics and control systems for bespoke machinery, collaborating with mechanical and software engineers to deliver reliable solutions.

The ideal candidate has proven EPLAN experience, a strong grasp of control systems and safety circuits, and a background in industrial automation. PLC knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical design experience using EPLAN.
• Experience in industrial automation or automated machinery.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and safety circuits.
• PLC programming knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics and control systems using EPLAN.
• Produce electrical designs and safety circuits for automated machinery.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams across projects.
• Create and maintain accurate electrical design documentation.
• Provide technical support throughout the design and development process.
