Job summary

Tiger Resourcing Group in Dorchester, United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical solutions for robot-based electromechanical systems used in factory and process automation. You will collaborate across departments to deliver safe, effective designs and support electrical schematics and 2D panel layouts, with occasional hands-on workshop work.

Travel to UK client sites in defence and aerospace sectors is required; a UK driving licence and strong

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in an electrical design role.
• Proficient in creating electrical schematics.
• EPLAN software proficiency.
• Ability to create 2D electrical panel layouts.
• Good time management and prioritisation.
• Willing to learn new technology.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical standards.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to travel.
• Must be able to drive in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical solutions for robot-based systems.
• Create electrical schematics and 2D panel layouts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet project milestones.
• Travel to client sites in the UK (defence/aerospace sectors).
• Join workshop team to fault-find and implement fixes.
• Produce and manage technical documentation per product process.
