Job summary

Hernshead Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a well-established automation company in Leicester. You will design electrical schematics and control systems, working closely with mechanical and software engineers to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical design experience using EPLAN.
• Experience in industrial automation or automated machinery.
• Good understanding of electrical control systems and safety circuits.
• PLC programming knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics and control systems using EPLAN.
• Produce electrical designs and safety circuits for automated machinery.
• Work closely with mechanical and software engineering teams throughout projects.
• Produce and maintain accurate electrical design documentation.
• Provide technical support throughout the design and development process.
