Job summary

JPMorgan Chase Personal Investing is seeking a Portfolio Automation Analyst to automate PMO reporting and governance, delivering KPI-driven packs and dashboards from Jira, Confluence and SharePoint at scale.

You will automate reporting, support senior governance forums, and embed the Product Delivery Lifecycle while reducing manual effort through AI-enabled workflows. Collaboration across teams and attention to data quality are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years' experience in PMO/portfolio operations, product operations, technology business management, reporting/analytics, or similar roles in complex, matrixed organisations.
• Hands-on coding ability (Python strongly preferred) with automation for reporting/analytics.
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence (queries/filters, workflows, custom fields, data hygiene).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated portfolio reporting from Jira and Confluence, including data normalisation across teams.
• Define and maintain a KPI dictionary and implement automated KPI computation (e.g., WIP, aging, cycle time, evidence completeness).
• Produce executive-ready weekly portfolio packs (PPT/Confluence) highlighting exceptions, risks, milestones and decisions needed.
• Embed the Product Delivery Lifecycle by defining minimum requirements and implementing evidence tracking/checks for auditable initiatives.
• Design and operate SharePoint sites/lists/libraries to manage governance meetings, agendas, decisions and artefact cataloguing.
• Support and, when needed, represent the PMO Manager in senior governance forums, keeping meetings on time and capturing decisions.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in tools, templates and ways of working to reduce manual effort.
• Apply approved AI/automation methods to streamline PMO workflows with validation and controls.
