Job summary

Vorboss is building London’s next-generation business fibre network and seeks a provisioning specialist to keep orders flowing smoothly from end to end. The role focuses on running automation, handling steps that require a human touch, and diagnosing issues that block progress.

The position is office based with time in datacentres, reporting to the Chief Networks Officer. It does not use an on-call rota and emphasises clear communication with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in provisioning, service delivery, or technical support in a service provider environment.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: VLANs, IP addressing, and end-to-end service building.
• Familiarity with Layer 2/3 services and resilience protocols (BGP, VRRP).

Responsibilities

• Run provisioning workflow day-to-day and ensure successful completion.
• Prepare and configure customer equipment from templates with field engineers.
• Allocate ports and fibre panels and log changes in the system.
• Provision datacentre services, including cross-connects and patching.
• Investigate provisioning issues and work with the right teams to fix.
• Keep records accurate to support automation.
• Raise change requests for non-standard designs and assist field teams.
