A leading healthcare organization in Reading seeks an RPA Developer to design and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and engaging in continuous professional development. Ideal candidates will have experience with automation tools and Agile methodologies, supporting healthcare transformation efforts.
Join our Intelligent Automation team as an RPA Developer, reporting to the Lead Developer. You'll design, build, and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools--Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, and SharePoint.
Working in agile sprints, you'll deliver impactful automations aligned with Berkshire Healthcare's needs. You'll also support testing, break-fix tasks, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders across the Trust.
We'll support your growth with training and development opportunities to help you tackle increasingly complex projects. You'll contribute to a programme that combines RPA with AI, OCR, ICR, and analytics to drive smarter, adaptive processes.
Our programme follows ISO 27001, GDPR, and Prince 2 Agile standards. You'll help ensure compliance and participate in audits. Occasional travel across Berkshire and attendance at four annual in-person team meetings is required.

Design, develop, and maintain Intelligent Automation (RPA) solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Deliver robust, scalable automations through agile development sprints.
Grow expertise in Power Platform to support business transformation.
Test automations (yours and others), report issues, and ensure compliance with governance and legislation.
Own your automations, code, databases, and lists.
Ensure adherence to ISO 27001, DCB 0129/0160, and Trust policies.
Complete governance documentation to required standards and stay updated on changes.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Understand stakeholder needs and support them during automation design and build.
Help identify new automation opportunities across the Trust.
Action break/fix requests within agreed timelines.
Attend IA team and project meetings.
Maintain strong knowledge of Intelligent Automation and Power Platform technologies to support evolving business priorities.

Relevant experience working within an automation or citizen developer environment
Experience of successfully developing and delivering production Automation solutions using tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, or Power Automate.Or other software development experience
Experience in supporting the development of automation solutions.
Experience of working within a highly governed and process heavy working environment.
Evidence of recent current & continuous personal and professional development.
Experience of working in professional software development.
