Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Controls Engineer for our Plymouth, MI facility. You will design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot control and automation systems that support manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety, and reliability.

Responsibilities include PLC, HMI, and embedded control applications; commissioning new facilities; diagnosing issues; and documenting specifications. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years hands-on control systems experience.
• Experience with PLC/ HMI development and automation.
• Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation systems for manufacturing.
