Bosch Rexroth in Birmingham, UK, seeks a highly capable Control Systems Engineer to design, develop and commission automated test and hydraulic control systems for production equipment.

You will work across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software disciplines, develop LabVIEW and PLC programs, document specifications, and support production with fault finding and tuning. This role offers a diverse environment with on-site parking and employee benefits.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent in control/electrical/mechatronics engineering.
• Proven controls/automation experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• LabVIEW or PLC programming is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic/electro-hydraulic systems.
• Experience reading electrical/hydraulic schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and commission control systems for production testing equipment.
• Develop LabVIEW and PLC software to test and evaluate component performance.
• Create and review system specifications, wiring diagrams and documentation.
• Support automation teams with development of automated test solutions.
• Diagnose faults during development, commissioning and production.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software engineers.
