ATA Recruitment are working with a global automation and distribution leader to recruit an Automation Assistant on site in Milton Keynes. The role supports the Maintenance Function, helps improve warehouse flow and progresses with a large engineering team.

You will troubleshoot mechanically and electrically, conduct site walkarounds, follow safety procedures and maintain automated handling equipment. The package includes £34,370 per annum, private healthcare, upskilling and structured training.

They are currently looking for a Automation Assistant to join the team on site supporting the Maintenance Function, improving the flow of the warehouse and willing to grow and progress with a large engineering team. The Role

As an Automation Assistant you will

• Be involved in supporting of the Maintenance Function
• Working and troubleshooting Mechanically and Electrically
• Site walkarounds ensuring the site is suitable for work
• Following safety procedures in the Maintenance world
• Maintain and repair automated handling equipment

The Candidate

As an Automation assistant we are looking for:

• Someone with a positive and results oriented attitude
• An aspirational engineer who is looking for potential progression and upskilling
• A proactive person, ideally with experience in Automation environment
• A strong communicator
• Someone who is happy working in a team and have own initiative
