Job summary

TDRS Recruitment Limited is seeking an Automatic Door Service Engineer for the Watford area to join a national leader in the automatic door industry. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a wide range of automatic door systems with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role offers up to £38,000 base salary, annual pay reviews, a London weighting allowance, and an attractive overtime and callout scheme, along with a company van and tools to support fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card and clean driving licence.

Automatic Door Engineer

An award-winning, national market leader in the automatic door industry is looking to expand its service engineering team in London. The role offers exciting prospects for personal growth and development. The package includes a basic salary of up to £38,000, 33 days holiday, pension plan, efficiency bonus as well as a lucrative callout and overtime scheme.

As an Automatic Door Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, Record, Geze, Dorma, Stanley, Tormax, Horton, Label, and more
• Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment
• Basic electrical wiring
• Adhering to BS EN 16005 standards

The successful Automatic Service Engineer will:

• Be experienced working for an EN 16005 recognised automatic door company
• Be experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic door systems
• Hold a valid EN 16005 certificate, or at least have held one in the past
• Have a clean driving licence
• Hold a CSCS Card
• Have experience electrical and mechanical fault finding

In return, you will receive a remuneration package which includes:

• Basic salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
• Pay review after probation and every twelve months
• Home-based, door to door pay
• London Weighting worth up to £5,200 per year
• Call out rota 1 week in every 5. £275 per week standby fee when on call
• Overtime at 1.5 paid between 6pm – 8am during the week and all hours worked on weekends
• Efficiency bonus, typically £4,000 average per year
