Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in the UK is seeking an Automatic Door Engineer to cover the Southampton and Portsmouth areas. This role involves maintaining, servicing and repairing swing and sliding automated entrance systems, with training and buddy support to develop expert knowledge.

The package includes a base salary of £38,000 with circa £50K OTE in the first year, a company van, PDA and mobile, 32 days holiday, a pension scheme and ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Requires EN16005 and hands-on work on swing/sliding entrance systems.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Electrical, welding or hydraulics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair swing and sliding automated entrance systems within a local postcode area.
• Manage own work in progress and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Attend training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and contribute as a team player.

A leading Automatic Entrance system manufacturer has a newly created Door Engineer opportunity for someone with a background within their industry. You will be covering the Southampton and Portsmouth areas. The company offer a full training and development program, where you will be buddied up with another member of the team and learn how things are done. Responsibilities of an Automatic Door Engineer

You'll be reporting to the Service Manager and be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of swing and sliding automated entrance systems within a local postcode area. Each day you'll be working with an assortment of equipment produced by the company in their factory. You will be expected to manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's fantastic reputation and future growth.

• EN16005
• Previous practical experience working on swing and sliding entrance systems
• Excellent customer service skills
• Electrical, welding or hydraulics experience
