Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to service, maintain and repair public access doors across retail, distribution sites and local authority buildings, from a fully equipped company van.

You will work to EN16005 and BS7036 standards, perform electrical and mechanical fault-finding, and spot sales opportunities while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding on automatic doors.
• Experience in service, maintenance, or installation within the automatic door industry.
• Familiarity with EN16005 and BS7036 regulations.
• Knowledge of swing, sliding, or revolving entrance systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of automatic swinging or sliding doors across various sites.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Are you an experienced Automatic Door Engineer looking to join a local, well-established, and thriving business within the South Yorkshire area? You'll be responsible for completing service, maintenance, and repairs across various locations, such as retail and distribution sites, as well as local authority buildings. You'll be driving a fully-racked, professional company van featuring all the latest technology. 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays are on offer, as well as company sick pay once probation is completed.

This Automatic Door Engineer role will involve the following:

• Service & maintenance of automatic swinging or sliding public access doors.
• Following EN16005 and BS7036 regulations.
• Spotting sales opportunities.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Delivering good customer service.

If any of the following Automatic Door Engineer tasks apply to your experience:

• Electrical, service, maintenance, or installation experience within the automatic door industry, past or present.
• EN16005 or BS7036 regulations.
• Swing, sliding, or revolving entrance systems.
