Job summary

The Welsh Blood Service is recruiting an Associate Practitioner for the Automated Testing department at the Talbot Green base. The role involves performing routine and specialist technical tasks to test blood components for transfusion in line with UK Guidelines and MHRA inspections.

The successful candidate will join a team in a laboratory setting and contribute to quality and safety in transfusion services. Welsh or English language skills are welcomed; Welsh language ability is desirable.

• Essential: Evidence of Laboratory based or GMP experience.
• Essential: Understand the importance of incident reporting.
• Essential: Supervisory experience.
• Desirable: Working in a laboratory.
