Job summary

Immunocore in Oxford, UK seeks a Research Scientist in Autoimmune Research to design and conduct cellular experiments advancing our pipeline. You will work on ImmTAAI effects in immune cells and develop new models for pre-clinical evaluation, collaborating across teams.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in Immunology with postdoctoral experience and have expertise in flow cytometry, cell culture, and data interpretation.

Qualifications

PhD in Immunology with up to 2 years postdoc experience.
Experience with cell-based assays and immune cell isolation.
Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry and data analysis.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Independently conduct and interpret cellular assays to study ImmTAAI effects on immune cells.
Develop new in vitro models and pre-clinical activities for ImmTAAI candidates.
Conduct cellular screening assays to identify and optimize ImmTAAI candidates.
Isolate, characterize, and expand immune cell populations (e.g., T cells, B cells, monocytes).
Maintain and culture cancer cell lines and primary cells used in research.
Present and interpret experimental data to teams via reports and discussions.
Maintain accurate lab records following SOPs and best practices.
