Job summary

Halfords Group in Gloucestershire invites college leavers to join the Halfords Garage Internship. You will undertake a 6-month fixed-term placement in one of our garages, gaining hands-on experience in tyres, brakes and servicing while being coached by experienced technicians.

You will receive regular feedback from the Early Careers team and Centre Manager, with an assessment at the end; successful interns are often offered a permanent role at Halfords.

Qualifications

• College leavers with a Level 3 qualification in an automotive-related subject.
• Passionate about a career in the motor industry.
• Willing to learn, work hard and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• 6-month placement in a Halfords garage, gaining hands-on experience in tyres, brakes and servicing.
• Coaching and mentoring from skilled technicians throughout the placement.
• Regular feedback from your Centre Manager and an assessment toward a permanent role on successful completion.
