Job summary

Anglian is seeking an experienced CAD Technician for our Norwich head office. You will produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings for bespoke residential projects, preparing submissions for Local Authorities, utility firms and Building Control, while ensuring designs reflect surveying data and manufacturing limits.

You will collaborate with Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Operations teams to resolve queries, keep work on track and meet demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Experience with SketchUp desirable but not essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings from surveying details and manufacturing parameters.
• Prepare drawings and supporting information for authorities and engineers.
• Maintain efficient workflows and deliver work to KPIs.
• Own technical queries and work with teams for timely resolutions.
• Communicate confidently with surveyors, engineers, and operations teams.
• Complete tasks accurately within tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Record, scan and upload documentation to company IT systems.
