Job summary

Riverside Motor Group is seeking a Service Advisor / Showroom Host for our Honda showroom in Wakefield. You will welcome customers, explain work required, and promote service plans to build lasting relationships with clients.

In this role you will coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs, maintain showroom standards and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting sales opportunities. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive customer service or customer-facing motor trade role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Sales mindset with ability to promote service plans and value-added products.
• Organised and proactive with attention to detail.
• Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
• Provide clear explanations of work required and manufacturer recommendations
• Discuss vehicle health check findings and support informed customer decisions
• Promote service plans and aftersales solutions to enhance customer loyalty
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely, high-quality repairs
• Offer refreshments and ensure customers are comfortable during their visit
• Manage courtesy cars, bookings and customer communications
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and brand standards
• Achieve individual and team targets across service and sales metrics
• Maintain excellent showroom presentation standards at all times, ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
