Job summary

Front Range Community College is seeking an Auto Service Technology Teaching Assistant to support instructors in setting up and running labs, preparing vehicles, and organizing the tool room. This is a part-time, hourly position with variable hours and a cap of 28 hours per week.

A Colorado resident on day one is required; occasional travel between FRCC campuses may occur. Responsibilities include supervising students in labs, assisting with exams and grading, and providing program area support.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair certificate.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs laboratories for students in automotive technology.
• Maintains and prepares vehicles and demonstrations; organizes tool room.
• Assists in classroom instruction and student assessment.
• Provides program area support and lab coordination.
