Job summary

Front Range Community College seeks a part-time EMS Instructor for the Westminster Campus to support education and development of students pursuing EMS careers. Instructors work independently and with EMS faculty to deliver high‑quality instruction using technology, simulation, and hands‑on learning.

The role covers various instructional duties, including lab instruction, topic units, skills assessment, and potentially serving as instructor of record. Travel among FRCC campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• A related associate degree or relevant current industry license or certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's with 18 discipline-related credits and 4000 hours.
• State of Colorado EMS Provider Certification at the EMT level or higher.
• At least 1 year of recent or current clinical emergency medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach EMS topics and instructional units as assigned.
• Provide hands-on learning, simulations, and effective teaching strategies.
• Evaluate student competency and provide feedback.
• Possible instructor of record for EMS courses when qualified.
• May travel to FRCC campuses as needed.

Education

Related associate degree or relevant license/certification

Current State EMS Provider Certification at EMT level or higher

Minimum 1 year experience in clinical emergency medicine
