Job description

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Specialist School in Brent that supports children with Autism.

The Role

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will support pupils with Autism (both high and low functioning) in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions as needed.

The school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant with the following qualities:

  • Experience supporting children and young people with Autism or a willingness to learn
  • Proactive and hands-on approach
  • Calm, clear communication skills
  • Confident in behaviour management and setting boundaries

This is a full-time, ongoing contract.
